Party with a Purpose: Matrix Human Services Presents 313 in the D Fundraising Event

Excitement fills the air as Matrix Human Services, a diverse nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming lives and strengthening communities in Detroit, proudly announces the eagerly awaited 313 in the D fundraising event. Set to take place on Thursday, July 13th from 5:30 – 9:00 pm, this extraordinary celebration guarantees an unforgettable night brimming with boundless joy, heartfelt philanthropy, and a collective commitment to effect positive change in the lives of Detroit’s most vulnerable populations.

313 in the D is more than just a party; it’s an opportunity to contribute to the vital programs and services that empower children, youth, adults, seniors, and families throughout Detroit. By attending this signature fundraising event, guests become integral partners in Matrix Human Services’ mission to uplift the community and create lasting change.

Monique Phillips

“It’s really a celebration – a celebration of the work that Matrix does, the impact that we have in the community, and it is also a fundraiser. We secure sponsorships, we host raffles, you name it in an effort to continue to raise funds for our Matrix Center,” said Monique Phillips, Vice President of Development and Marketing.

“Funds raised from 313 in the D will power programs and services for children, youth, adults, seniors, and families who are counting on organizations like ours to provide, not just hope, but real answers to their everyday challenges. This event supports all of those causes, and so we encourage everyone to purchase a ticket, and come out and celebrate with us. It’s going to be a lot of fun.”

313 in the D offers a unique opportunity to party with a purpose. The event will feature delicious food, refreshing cocktails, live entertainment, exciting raffles, and breathtaking views of Detroit’s iconic skyline. Guests will have the chance to dance the night away, enjoy remarkable experiences, and create memories while supporting a worthy cause.

By donating to Matrix Human Services, individuals can make a direct impact on the lives of Detroit’s most vulnerable populations. Every dollar raised during the event goes towards providing essential resources, educational opportunities, workforce development, housing assistance, and support services to those in need. Together, we can transform lives and uplift our community.

Mr. Frank Ervin III

“What I’m proud of is that 313 in the D is a very successful event, but it showcases Detroit. That’s one of the great things. It showcases what’s going on in the city itself, and a lot of people that [go] there they’re not domiciled in the city,” says Board Chair, Frank Ervin, III. He continues, “They don’t live in the city. They only know what they hear or read, and quite frankly they don’t know the services that are provided by an organization like Matrix, so 313 in the D gives you the opportunity in a social, relaxed setting to actually come together, talk to people, interact with people, and show them what we do.”

Don’t miss this extraordinary opportunity to party with a purpose and make a tangible difference in the lives of Detroit’s most vulnerable. Tickets for 313 in the D are available for purchase at www.matrix313inthed.org. Join Matrix Human Services and be a part of the transformative impact we can create together.
